Welcome to Albury Sports Centre

Albury Outdoor Sports Centre is a working partnership with residents in the community and Sport Aberdeen and is run by volunteers.

The Centre provides facilities for bowling, croquet, tennis and putting and is also the venue for a walking group and wellbeing group. The Centre also has a community herb garden and local residents and visitors are welcome to help themselves to herbs when available.

If you would like to help keep this much loved local facility open and can spare a couple of hours a week or month then please get in touch by clicking on the Volunteer Spot icon or emailing volunteers@alburysportscentre.org

Sport Aberdeen Job Opportunity

Sport Aberdeen, in partnership with Tennis Scotland, have an exciting new role as a Community Tennis Coordinator. We are looking for a dynamic individual to develop and deliver tennis programmes at community tennis venues across the city, and also work with Sport Aberdeen and Tennis Scotland on exciting projects designed to get more playing tennis in Aberdeen. Keep Scotland Beautiful is inviting you to vote for your favourite  Scottish Green Flag Award park as part of a UK-wide competition.

Winners of the public vote could feature in the top 10 UK parks for 2017 and be named as Scotland’s number one park as voted by the public.

We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to vote for your favourite Aberdeen Park (Duthie Park). Aberdeen has 4 Parks for you to choose from –  Hazlehead, Seaton, Johnston Gardens and DUTHIE PARK.

Much appreciated and hope to see you around the Park and there is still time to be involved with our Artist in Residence Project in the making of a glass mosaic, which will be hung in the David Welch Winter Gardens. Shelagh Swanson, a local artist,  is located in the Education Glasgow within the Winter Gardens and will be on location from 19th Sept, where you can create a glass tile for the Mosaic or help with the making of the mosaic.
